It is a perfect for people wanting a hard workout or a leisurely ride that also challenges you along the way.

Champlain Canalway Trail is a 12.6 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located in Warren & Washington County, NY that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March to October. There are two trail end points Feeder Dam Richardson St. (Glens Falls) and Factory St. at Wing St. (Ft. Edward) the surface of the trail is crushed stone.

It is within Feeder Canal Park, Five Combines, Feeder Canal Trail, Murray Park, and Haviland’s Cove Park. It is 7.3 miles long and begins at 297 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 14.5 miles with a total elevation gain of 599 feet. Feeder Canal Park and another parking and the Hyde Collection museum can be seen along the trail. There are also a fountain, a parking, and an information along the trail.
