2026 is a monumental year as our nation proudly celebrates its 250th anniversary.

The Washington County 250th Commemoration Committee invites residents and visitors to attend and/or participate in the History Festival they are organizing in celebration of the nation’s 250th commencement!

July 11 & 12, 2026 | Washington County Fairgrounds

Get ready for a weekend dedicated to discovery and celebration of all things Washington County history!

From the county’s role in the Revolution to its impact on civil rights, this free family-friendly festival will feature living history demonstrations, educational displays, food, wagon rides, live music and much more.

    Sun. 10:00am – 4:00 pm
