The Capital Region’s Finest 9-Hole Golf Course
Founded in 1925, the Battenkill Country Club is a public-private 9-hole golf course set beside the Battenkill River in Greenwich, N.Y. Our par 35 course features rolling greens, well-maintained fairways, and challenging hole layouts over nearly 3,000 yards. We offer front 9 and back 9 tees (men, women, and senior) and we are open to the public every day, with no tee times required.

Our clubhouse offers a locker room, pro shop, bar, and full kitchen. We can host your special golf event or tournament, including fundraisers, memorials, and corporate events. Lunches, snacks, dinners, and beverages are available for all outings and tournaments.

The way the course is designed, the Battenkill River comes into view on nearly every hole. You can see it on the first green, the second and third holes, the fifth hole and the sixth tee. More than half of the course is right on the banks of the Battenkill.
