Washington County, New York is well-known for many things, with our roots centered in the arts and agriculture. The Art + Ag Tour brings the two together. This self-guided driving tour is an anticipated annual event, featuring local artists and artisans at each farm destination.
The tour invites visitors to experience a range of art & farming styles in a single day. Meet the small business owners – the farmers, artists and artisans – and learn about their craft. From abstract oil paintings to watercolor artworks and from beef to wine farm products, you’ll find it all here while exploring our bucolic back roads and charming small towns!
Admission is free at all farm locations.

As you explore the Art + Ag Tour, you’ll find many unique artworks and farm-made goods at each stop! Farm products include antiques, apples, beef, brandy, cheese, cider, craft beer, CSA sign-ups, donuts, eggs, farm experience sign-ups, hard cider, flowers, lotions, soaps, wine and more.
So gather your friends, hop in the car and set out for an adventure in the countryside!

Visitors can shop for original artwork and handcrafted pieces at each tour location, including ceramics, jewelry, woodworking, glassware, artisan baked goods, cards and prints, leatherwork, bark and quill baskets, books from a local author, contemporary quilts, sculpture, pottery, and textiles. Certain locations will feature live demonstrations of painting and metalsmithing.
