SUGAR HOUSES
As the annual boil begins, many maple producers open their sugarhouses to visitors so they can see the process. Be sure to contact the sugar shack you’re hoping to visit to ensure they’re open or to make any reservations. Many have also opened online shops and are shipping all over the country!

New York State is home to the largest resource of tappable maple trees in the U.S. and over 2,000 maple sugarmakers! From tap to the table, making maple syrup is often a hands-on process. And every year, Maple Weekend acts as the culmination of the hard work that goes into the maple products we enjoy year-round.
