To ensure a tasty variety for their customers, Slickfin works extra hard to have ten beers on tap at all times. When stopping in, they encourage you to enjoy their taproom. But not everyone has the time to relax with a cold one – that’s why Slickfin offers options for those with no time to sit! Grab a 32 oz. Crowler can to go and enjoy at your leisure.

Additionally, Slickfin offers prepackaged products and bottled non-alcoholic beverages for the convenience of all of their customers. While their location does not offer a kitchen, they highly recommend you bring your own food or get some delivered. Bonus points if it’s another local business! But even if you don’t plan ahead, Slickfin has you covered. Their partnership with Stumpy’s Pizzeria (and their owner Amy Stumvoll) allows Slickfin customers to browse Stumpy’s menu and enjoy their pizza right in the taproom.

Slickfin Brewing Co.’s Events & Community Involvement

Slickfin’s customers cannot rave enough about the energy and the atmosphere of the taproom. Slickfin took that potential and made something even greater out of it: a community connection. 

With events including everything from local band performances to karaoke nights, Slickfin makes sure to provide its customers with a high-quality and memorable experience, encouraging them to feel connected. During the summer’s Tuesdays on the Hudson, Slickfin pairs up with other local businesses to create a mini destination, welcoming visitors to shop, stroll, dine, and enjoy delicious craft beer.

Of course, we could not forget to talk about their famous Fort Fest…we’ll touch on that next.

Fort Edward, NY’s Fort Fest

A newer but very popular tradition is Slickfin’s Fort Fest. Taking place in August each year, Fort Fest brings a relaxing day of music, local food vendors, and beverages to their enthusiastic customers. Fort Fest is filled to brim with fun things to do, including a karaoke night leading up to the event. Slickfin’s artisanally-crafted ales and lagers by the barrel combined with live music & tasty food is the perfect way to spend a beautiful summer day!

Founded in 2017, Slickfin’s mission to bring quality drinks and connection has not changed, but it has grown stronger. Owned and operated by a retired Marine bomb tech and family, they have given it their all to make Slickfin a place of enjoyment for beer lovers. 

The owners (Chris and Heather) even encourage customers to bring their well-behaved dogs to sit on the patio or relax in the beer garden!
