This is the best place to launch onto the Champlain Canal in Fort Ann.
Shops and restaurants are a short walk away— look carefully before crossing the railroad tracks. The remains of old Locks 16, 17, and 18 can be seen to the north and south of Ann Street, paralleling Canal Street.
